Next gathering/tournament will be on the beach!!!
Being a beach sharker i love the idea.Team Apex would be in.I dont think boca grand would be a good spot.We are planging a trip up there.Alot of beach there is in state parks and no over night and so on.I think we need to make this in a mid point for all involved so road time is not much for everyone.I would love to see this in the summer when the tigers run and sea's are better. As shannon said the club will always help others weather its by loan of gear or a car to jump into. You dont have to be a great sharker with monsters under your belt to be involved. This will be a great time to meet your fellow club members as well as learn from the old timers as well as the new skool boys that are making their mark in the sport.Lets get a roll call going on here everyone.WHOS IN!!!!!!!!!!
These people are coming 100 percent, because i am bringing them

Hey guys i think it's a great idea we did something similar last year during the first week of The Big Hammer Challenge we rented three rooms at the Sandy Shoes hotel right on Melbourne beach for a whole week. The place is 3 miles north of Sebastian Inlet it's small run by a family ,the staff treated us very nice the entire week ,,,,as a matter of fact the young guy at the front desk is a local fisherman who provided us with some shark bait.If we rent there for let's say a weekend it would be perfect for the wife and kids comfort. There is a local park half a block south of the hotel ,no lifeguards and parking is easy and free.So the idea is during the day we fish behind the park and at night we shift over behind the hotel.People not staying can hang out with us and use the hotel room to rest or shower, eat a hot meal or share a cold drink with us.Last year we had a blast caught some big sharks, some big redfish and snook at the Inlet and just had a wonderful time.If we reserve with plenty of time we can probably get as many rooms as are needed. If for any reason the surf is high we have a spot 30 minutes south where we found a much smaller surf and plenty of hungry sharks to bite.

I love the idea, the only thing is the reservation part, this may reserve us for huge seas, a cold front or anything, but if the rest of the gang agrees in just setting a date with a month notice, i guess that,s what we will do.
I personally had planned on making this a one night thing in which we are guaranteed great weather, but give us your feedback and opinions everybody so we can make this as fun and conveniant for every one as possible.
As far as location i think Will found our spot.
1.Free parking
2.no life guards
3.you can fish all night
4.And the big sharks are guaranteed to be in Sebastian, May,June, or July!!!!!!!
Now we need determine what month we decide for this event, and how we plan it, a month ahead of time or 10 days prior?
We are a team so now is your time to give us feedback!!!!

i think if you want more kids to come it will be during summer vacetion but thet also means tourists in the waterbut stil my opinion is any month at all but on a weekent that way the people who work mon-fri. and people who still go to school can come but im behind you 100% no matter what

Let's do it not to far from Saint Peterburg. You know the east coast isn't the only place to shark fish. Sharks over here are healthy they have all the food they want (rays bonita tarpon) just to name a few of there resources. West coast has the records.
so you can count me in as long as I have a gino to take my bait out
sol
Soloman whats up my man!! The way we are planing for surefire calm weather, ginos to take your bait out will be plentiful, just come and be there with us, bring your wife and little boy we will either bbq or order a dozen pizzas or so!!! as for location, every 1 is leaning towards Sebastian area beaches due to Big Hammers and Tigers swarming the area during the time of the tournament and a plethora of black tips for all the younger shark fisherman to practice!!!!
Month and date will be coming real soon!!!
