Next gathering/tournament will be on the beach!!!

Willy and I were discussing our next gathering /fun tournament amongst our club and out side friends who are interested and we have come up with the idea of doing it on the beach of choice, we can set the date for may or june, and wait untill the last week to target the hottest beach at the time, and when we find that beach of choice, may it be Melbourne, South Beach, Juno, Boynton, or etc, we will spread the word and post for all to read, then meet at that spot with a beach long arsenal of 12-0s through 16-0s with all the women,juniors, and kahunas all fishing together, maybe even make it interesting with a 5 - 10 dollar pool for biggest shark!!!

I know for sure between team apex, Shark fever, and Hammer and the phenoms alone we will have a minimum turn out of 15 club members, add on brad (loveinit) our newest member from Tampa, and a few others and we will have a great turn out!!!

Just picture 45-75 rods stretched 400 yards down a beach that is on fire at the time, that plus 5-10 big coolers full to the brim with cudas,jacks,and rays!!!!

As time winds down towards the date we will work out more and more of the details like any questions any of us may have i.e (can we have a huge shark club barbeque on that beach) which i realy want to find the right beach to make this question possible!!! just picture all the rods out while were grilling fish ,steaks and burgers right on the sand at night!!!!!

This is realy going down some time in the coming months so lets work together (Nikki,William,Hammer,and every one else) to get this planned out right!!!

Tournament Upgrades
1. In this gathering we will let everyone know way in advance which month the tournament will land on, between May,June, and July. we will hold off on the exact date due to us making sure that we will have flat as a lake seas to have all the anglers kayaking there baits out in ease and not miserably getting flipped over and over like what occurred in the (black tip challenge) so i hope giving the exact Saturday in which we will be holding the event with only 8-10 days notice will be okay for most interested. I can guarantee you this, a lot of people holding fishing gatherings will like these upgrades in beach fishing events, because rough seas or heavy rain and lighting will ruin any event.

2. Patiently waiting to pull the trigger on this event will also benefit all of us in the fact that we can know all the way up to 10 days prior which beach is going to be on fire and infested with sharks.
(example)planning a tournament on june 25th at juno could be a total dud if junos shark bite is totaly dead and 8 foot seas are expected for that weekend. this is what can happen if you put a set date one whole month ahead of time in one set location.

3. If the fishing is hot on a beach and we choose that beach for our event and it is far from your house, suck it up and take a little drive if you have to, it will be well worth it to gather with great people eating great food and doing what every one on here loves to practice or just be apart of, and that is (SHARK FISHING). I mean for us Miami folks were the ones that always have to take the longer drives to fish the beaches up coast so it cant be that bad for others.

4. Lastly we are all in this together and finding the hot spot is only half of it because the location we choose has got to be a place were you can shark fish all night long with safe parking. being aloud to BBQ will also be a major bonus, if not we will all have to pitch in and order a bunch of pizzas out to the beach.

This is going to be great everybody, i also want to add if money is low for anybody, you can come anyways, we have a strong core of guys who have always helped many others who are in a bit of a pinch or a problem(were like family) even you newcomers, the same goes for you, will make sure we all eat like champions just come and enjoy yourself. If gas money is low you can definitely ride with either me, willy, hammer, nikki, or someone we find in your area. If you need to borrow a shark rod we also got your back.

I think it's a great idea.It's done in Texas a few times a year and they have crawfish boils,a bon fire and a great big turnout each and every time.I love the concept i think it's done more with the idea of bringing together all the shark fisherman and to build much needed commaraderie.LET'S DO IT - just a fun old time on the beach among many people who all love the same sport.
The main goal would be to make new friends and to have some fun on the sand.It would be great to bring out the entire family and make a day of it.I'm all for uniting and making strong bonds and against destroying and breaking up friendships.
