hey yall i will be getting my first shark fishing gear this week and am going to try fishing near the jeties in destin this weekend i am new to the site and to shark fishing but i have been reading everything yall got on this site so hopefully i will do good if anybody is in the area i would like so have some company so i dont mess anything up lol well good luck too all yall fishing else were.
sorry i forgot to write down what i have i have a senator 9/0 with 1400 yards of 100lb test with a custom 6'6 rod and a 10ft 7x7 cable leader with 2 9/0 eagle claw hooks. good luck fishing to all yall!

got a stingray and 2 good size sail-cats i will be fishing for bail also never can have too much bait.

9:30pm hooked u with my first shark on the new gear IT WAS AWSOME!!! i would guess it was between a 4-6ft bull i will have pics up as soon as i can. thanks for all yall putting the info and experience on this site, it was a great help and i could not have done without it.
