the fishing has been great here the last week and this week so far huge spanish makeral lots of lady fish lots of popano and a ton of small sharks at night 6-8 ft only one problem though the pier is crowded as hell during the day there must by 500 people fishing on it

Yeah there is a shit ton of ladyfish off the beaches in that area..small sharks, and whiting. are the pilchards showing up around there yet? happy bait time is on the way.
there are a few bigger pilchards but most are smaller and we are using them to catch the big mackeral
there is also some really big pompano my friend got one tues that was 23 in
