Mud hole inc.
I don't like that company. They have overcharged prices and they also overcharge you for shipping, not to mention that you'll have to pay taxes as well on top of all that. Go with acidrod.com and charkbait.com - they are fair all the way for they merchandise prices plus real shipping prices. As a matter of fact, acidrod.com won't even summarize the total cost for your items and shipping till someone in they company, manually will lookup on your order and give you an realistic shipping quote.
Not to mention that they have MUCH MUCH BETTER BLANKS. Period!
Mudhole is like bassproshop - whatever they have it can be purchase at least with 20% cheaper in other places. You just have to shop around.
The best of the best website to buy tackle is the Amazon Warehouse - they don't have all the time the items that you want, but when they do - nobody can beat they prices. Reels that typically would $150 i purchase it for $70 - brand new. Like i said, the catch is - to keep an eye on them and be ready to buy when they offer them for sale, and they may have only one at that crazy cheap price. Also, the way how works - every week that - that item won't sell - they'll gonna drop weekly they price till someone will buy it. So, let's say you see a reel at $90 and the original price is $100, if they can't sell it at $90 that week, by next week they'll gonna drop up to $10 on that item, so by next week will be $80, if still nobody buys the item, another week later that item may be at $70, although the risk is - you may lose it, since someone else may like the current price and purchase it.
Enjoy.
Never had a problem with Mudhole but if I did, they would take care of it.
I've ordered from acidrod once and didn't receive half of my order due to back orders, after a couple of months they contacted me about the order and asked if I still wanted it... no thanks.
Did know Charkbait had rod building components, will look into them.

From my understanding, when takes so long to get it an item is because the manufacture has hard time to keep up with the demand. At least that's what i was told.
The best way to avoid all these unpleasant situations is to - call ahead to make sure that all that what you order - is - or at least - will be - available for shipping in your needed time-frame. Doing that, would save you some money that can be used for other things.
acidrod.com has a note there with whatever they have on stock or not. So, if you see that the item that you wanna order is not in stock, you may wanna call them to ask about the availability of that item. That should give you an idea on what to expect. Personally, i never had problems with them, although the situation is different from order to order.
My point here is, if you can save some money purchasing same item - why pay more?
