Are you kidding? Florida has some of the biggest Rattlers alive, Eastern Diamondback , carry enough venom to kill 10 men ,
I saw plenty of them over 5ft , & some over 6,
saw a mounted one in FT. Myers that was 8ft long , had a head big as a BaseBall

Then ,as if all the Diamondbacks& Coral snakes weren't enough to worry about the idiots who turn all the Pythons,Boas, & Monitor Lizards loose ought to be made to go catch every one that's loose !

Im jealous as hell Scott! Ive been looking for Rattlers off and on out here my whole life, every time Im in an area known to hold them Im looking. Never seen a one. All I run across is cottonmouths and banded watersnakes accidentally while bass fishing, and Black Racers galore. What do you do with your snakes? Eat em? Ive been wanting to take a trip out to the Glades to track down a few Burmese just havent made it down there for it yet.

Head over to the West coast FT Myers, LEHIGH acres, the woods around there ,& further South &over to Okeechobee& Everglades,, hellacious big Easterns,

i want to get after those Pythons too when I get moved back down for good ,
If you go be careful ,Those diamondbacks are nasty, .22pistol comes in handy , like a RUGER MARK II or SINGLE SIX w/Long Barrel , use "STINGERS" wait till he coils all up ,can't miss,
Those STINGERS will splatter him like a lightning strike!
