Oh I agree with you Dan, just stating that if Jeremy Wade (whom I consider a horrible fisherman) can catch an almost 10ft bull in south africa I am sure there are bigger ones. Proper measurements are definitely needed though and I know I have made it a point to get these type of pictures this year for my sharks.

Yes..there is an episode where they are targeting bull sharks, and in the beginning they caught a 4 ft blacktip which they misidentified as a bull..you can clearly see the shape of the dorsal fin and snout, it is clearly not a bull.

He targeted 10-30lb Tiger fish with a 50w (or 50w sized reel...), Used 600lb cable and trouble hooks. No wonder he only caught one one his 4 week trip

We could do this all day

Who cares what he fishes with he does daily what you guys can only dream of. I personally have a caught a bull over 500 pounds. And had 10 and half footer pierside so it's possible. To many kids these days trolling these sites instead of actually fishing.

9. Unofficial World Record Bull Shark (700 lb)

The official International Game Fish Association (IGFA) record for a bull shark (Carcharhinus leucas) is a 697 lb 12 oz fish caught off Kenya in 2001 by an angler named Ronald de Jager. However, the bull shark pictured here could very well have beaten that record. It was caught by Ed Maloney, who was just fishing off the seawall behind his cousin Frank Maloney’s home in St. Petersburg, FL. The two Maloney’s couldn’t land the fish themselves, so they had to call Frank’s next door neighbor for help. Together, the three of them landed the 8 ft 10 in 700 pounder. Since they didn’t have a certified scale, there was no way of verifying the weight, and thus no way of obtaining official world-record status.

I hooked into one a little smaller then this one in fort pierce one night on south bridge I hooked him and then my brand new power pro broke halfway from the tip of the rod to the water which was about a 10 yard stretch.pissed me off it took a life horse bunker.I have seen a dozen or so running the river in fort pierce about this size.I'm going to get one here in the nxt month or two watch!!!!
