Mono top shot and braid backing!!!!
How much braid to mono. I keep seeing 2/3 braid, 1/3 mono?
I would go 2/3 mono and 1/3 braid. Mono handles the beaches wear and tear a lot better and is a heck of lot cheaper to replace. You want that braid as your backup plan for when a big one just doesn't want to stop!
