Anybody ever heard of a "Magnaflux" rod?I found one for sale that is a 130# full roller rod with a 12/0. Thinking of purchasing, but it is a few hour drive for me. It was made in Mami, FL.
Finally have the funds to buy a decent shark rig, but the ones I want are so far away!
In my opinion and experience, there aren't too many people that can snap a rod rated at 130 lb test or higher when using it properly on a fish, If you check out the rod and see that it isnt too abused and that the line wont get frayed up from the guides and that everything looks built decent, then go for it, the mullet run is a great time to start fishing, it's going on now, get a bait out there, If you don't like the rod, there will always come opportunities to trade or sell for better
Just an average fisherman.
OK, I found a couple more rods closer for about half the price. So I will check those out.
