Lake Worth Closed Down 4 Weekend

Just was on the news that Lake Worth Pier will be shut down for the storm.
I'll have a Palm Beach Inlet report for you guys tho 8-)

It always pissed me off when local piers over reacted...A few drops of rain and hey guys this is a good excuse for us to take a vacation....the hell with you all!

So you guys aint worried much either? 8-) Everyone round here is starting to get a lil crazy. My store (Lowes) just received a truck of 36 pallets of $700 Generators! Thats 216 generators! :o I told them thats just crazy!

Well... the same guy got struck by lightning twice out on Juno pier... that's why they warn you to leave when there's lighting around :lol: . My spinning rod starts buzzing when there's a lot of electricity in the air.

Just an average fisherman.

I was on Juno yesterday in a lighting storm and the man came on the load spaker and said we have poncho for sell. At Lake Worth they would have kicked us off the pier for five hours.

The lightning in Juno can be avoided wearing lightning-proof ponchos sold on the pier, not so much in Lake Worth :))

:lol: pretty much yeah...! Just make sure you purchase life insurance with it as well :D

The one good thing about getting hit by lightning while standing on wood is 'It kills toenail fungus in a flash' :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :D :D

ps.........Hickory Wood works best for that just cooked fresh bar-bq'd smell :shock: :shock: :o

I wear my Gore-tex on the beach when I need it 8-) Its good stuff.
