I was fishing in boca grande last night and fell asleep on a blanket. In the morning i woke up with my lip huge and swollen. It went down eventually but i was just curious to know if anyone has gotten bad insect or spider bites while sleeping on the beach. id like to hear some stories.
you should see the scorpions there once you see one you will never sleep on the sand again.

we fished the pass but we couldnt get a bait out all night because of the current, and we ended up sleeping through the slack tide.

nah it was centipedes down there
you cant stay in the park after dark unless you have the over night pass. getting baits out isnt hard but you need alot of weight to fish there. and cant drop ur bait far.
