Ideas / Input for MONSTER Superhero Themed Pier Rod

So I have picked up this 8' 3" solid glass rod to have it completely redone. https://www.southfloridasharkclub.com/fo ... =44&t=4218
The rod is somewhere between 26-28mm Tip. It's a monster. I have decided to think outside the box and go with a Superman Theme for it. My rod builder is still in teardown mode on it, so I wanted to run the idea past a thousand sets of eyes, versus just one. We're going to modify the length to about 7'6" and do a Stuart Tuff-Butt (Aluminum) butt on it and a 10-11" foregrip (EVA). Now I am stumped on how to best use the colors red, sky blue, and a bit of yellow between the blank color, underwraps, and overwraps ect. Planning on doing the Superman logo between the diamond set and the first guide. Just sold my 50VSW to replace with an AVET Pro 50 Topless for this rod, and am thinking about color matching the reel to the rod as well. The AVET is at least 10 ounces lighter, and alot more practical. This is going to be a Stud pier rod, but at the same time I want it something people remember...And talk about...The pier I use this on is 25 feet deep with concrete pilings and a super fast outgoing tide. Ising 16+ ounces of lead is not uncommon... Really just looking for some creative input. I have seen some amazing things show up on this board. I think I fried my brain just laying there last night trying to figure out how to do the colors... Any input is GREATLY apprecieated. Thanks! Jeremy

Just my style of fishing, but i think the blank is nice the way it is, you can still add the aluminum butt but I wouldn't cut it down if it were my rod, just a preference of mine, especially from piers and bridges, about the superman logo, if you have a really good rod wrapper, he should be able to do the wrap with threads instead of just slapping a logo on there, no to see a superman logo in warps instead of just a logo would be something worth talking about, I ave seen intricate tuna, fishscales, and sharks made out of just threading, I think that would be great.

Emphasize more blue over-all and red under and around, I would save the yellow for edges, trim, thin stuff, between the guides, end of a wrap set, etc.

i don't know how much money you want to put into this rod but there are colored guides out there, I always found those pretty cool

You can also get EVA foam of different colors I beleive, I have seen my friends rods with green, red, and blue foam.

Hope this helps a little.

P.S. your link doesn't work.

Just an average fisherman.

like slasherx4 was talking bout try to get a weave of superman instead of a picture. as for the foregrip (depending on your rod builder) you can make inlays in the grip itself which i would do the superman symbol in the foregrip and then just have crazy decorative and guide wraps.
