How to sharpen a knife
I forgot the name of it but anyways,k-mart & walmart sells a cheap but effective sharpener for around 4-5 bucks. Its a red plastic housing with 2 stones & is designed to strip the blade as you use it down the blade.Ive seen a few that dont use the stone but metal instead. It works for me & I normally put a hurting on a blade when & if I decide to harvest a shark. Got 2 of them in my box now ![]()
I was always having a hard time keeping my fishing knives sharp so this year i was at the Dania Marine Flea market and I invested $25 on a Mundial 12 inch diamond edge flat knife sharpener,,,,,,,,,this thing is wonderful and quick!!!
You get a sharp edge in no time.
It sharpens all my knives and never loses it's effectiveness and it's much faster then a sharpening stone. Those stones take time,a good technique, lots of practice, and patience.
