im getting new line for my 50w either today or tomorrow and the hollow core and non hollow core is the same price but i dont really understand how to splice. so for splicing where do i buy the needles and how do you splice. or until i learn how to splice better can i tie it just like regular braid
you can buy the needles at the place you buy your braid most of the time. if you are going local to like cooks or some thing they maybe able to do a splice for you and show you. but if you want to learn to splice check out youtube there is a bunch of videos.
im ordering the braid online i dont like other people spooling my reels. i dont know if this is how much splicing kits are everywhere but where im getting the braid from its $90

You don't need a kit you only need the needle sized for the size line your splicing. They are about $20.00
ok thanks cause i was looking and getting kinda confused because they have a lot of needles and then some with loops and some with a clip on one end and wasnt sure if you need all of them.and for the size needle do you get the exact thickness for the line size or can i get one size bigger so the line threads easier or does the bigger size not fit in the smaller hollow core
