Idk much about harrington, but they had a partnership with harnell at one time and the blanks are very similar, i call them the ugly sticks of shark fishing, you can bend them all teh way to the butt and they wont break, they were gauranteed for life when they were sold...

but personally I wouldnt pay over 400 for a perfect condition rod built to someone elses specs and just because its a harrington doesnt mean its the only rod that can handle the big boys, there are plenty of blanks out there besides harrington and harnell that have also been proven shark catchers like gator glass, cal star, blackfin and eglass (i beleive are both gator blanks), sabre, fennwick, star rods, etc.

a harrington 555 is supposed to be 8 1/2 feet long and sell between 150-350...

i got a 12/0 set up and a 9/0 set up gator rod and golden sabre rod for under $300 through a lot of patience and a little trading

Cool. I have 1 that Keith (sharkark) is rebuilding for me. I'm just looking for another one for my other 14/0. I know where 1 is but I don't wanna pay his price for it.
