Greg Bogdan's 1,038lb Hammer

I have had my friend Eddie always tell me about Greg Bogdan's HUGE hammer. I know people who are good friends with Mr. Bogdan. I do not know him personally, but I do know he is a heck of an angler. I have heard that he caught it on a blacktip, and it was weighed at Sailfish Marina, in Riviera Beach. That is all I know about it.

I am hoping someone else knows about this fish. Every big fish like this has a story behind it.

Tight Lines,
Kevin

Best picture I've seen of that shark so far-you can see how huge it was .Looks about the same size as the one Josh Jergenson and I saw at Singer Island in February of that that same year eating a blacktip shark in the surf about 75 yards off the beach.I had Aaron Bunch quickly yak out a piece of stingray and drop it right in front of him but it was too intent on scarfing the tipper and did not eat our bait.

here's the story

Sad to see that big hammer die.
