Saw this on the florida sportsman website and I didn't know if anybody has ever seen or used this green zip tie possibly as a tag. I did some research and couldn't find any tagging programs that use a green zip tie. The guy that posted the report lives over in englewood florida and was fishing in charlotte harbor. I got a house down on Palm Island there and incase I ever run into a shark with one of those things, I would like to know if I should document it to the proper tagging program or if I should ignore it.
was shark fishing in the harbor on Sunday and we caught a shark with a neon green zip tie on the dorsal fin. there were no numbers to record and notify. anyone know why it was tagged? tournament maybe or someone playing around, as I said there was no info to record.
