I saw that Glen Pla dude (Average Angler fishing show host) on facebook and sent him a suggestion about doing a land based shark fishing episode. He quickly sent me a reply to PM him but I was offline at the time. I think he may be interested in doing so. I sent him another msg and am waiting on a reply. What are some of you guys thoughts on the subject? I told him this was the BEST site on the web for info and you guys do not hesitate to teach and/or learn anything new, And that the experience levels here are immeasurable. So what are your thoughts? The guy is kinda goofy but seems like he is for teaching our youth and informing the public of our awesome sport. Thoughts?
LiIke the man J-D HAMMER,i sharkfish A lot and I'm also goofy plus always like to turn someone on to the sport....I'm sure we can make it worth his wild plus give him some good old sharkfishing time......see what he wants to do and we'll go from there........P.S, "THATS GOODSHIAT"!!!!!

Maybe if other members sent in requests for a show on LBSF
he might be more apt to respond to it. If they see it is popular
they may take a harder look at our sport. I'd post the link and
encourage everyone to repond to him. POWER IN NUMBERS........
I contacted him via Facebook. He still hasnt replied, Im not really thinking he will. Im guessing people WANT tourists to stay ignorant to what they are swimming with on our beaches. I dont know. The tourists just laugh at me when they see us fishing the beach. "Theres no sharks here, we swim here." They always say that. I always just yeah, and smile.
I sat down and spent as about as much time as I would
normally setin out a bait to look up as many sport and fishing
related media sites as I could find and asking them to take
a look at LBSF and explaining the evolution as well as the
modern sharkfishermen and the way we pratice our sport
now as compared to the way the sport was percieved.
NOW PLEASE, WHILE WE STILL HAVE A SPORT IS THE
TIME TO DO THE SAME. IF ENOUGH OF US BOMB THESE
MEDIA GIANTS WITH THE SUBJECT SOMEBODY's GOT TO NOTICE.
I have been refering to this site and to Will as a reference.
It would'nt hurt to mention 90% of what we catch is released
unharmed and that the sharks are already there. WE DO NOTHING
MORE TO ATRACT THE FISH OTHER THAM A PIECE OF BAIT LIKE
EVERY OTHER SURF FISHERMEN IN THE WORLD. I DON'T BELIEVE
ANYONE ON HERE CHUMS FROM THE BEACH OR SHORE. IF YOU DO

then go swimming in freezing water WTF or we can watch rednecks teach
city folk how to snatch a catfish's jaw out of socket or we can watch em
