Fuji's KR Concept for saltwater - just another rod build...
My newly build 9ft spinning rod, compared to my last year made, shark rod:
Tested the other day... cast 80-100yds on 12lb mono 1oz weight (just the weight). Rod weights about 14 oz without reel. So sensitive, i can even feel on mono, the live bait being in distress before it gets hit. The Fuji's KR Concept truly works for saltwater fishing as well. I caught in the first day of fishing over 22" spanish macro, casting as far as i could, on cut bait. I'm glad i toke a chance on this innovative breakthrough guide concept. This stuff, for spinning rods WORKS...!
True & that's the whole idea behind it, plus harder to steal it at night, since the reflective tape can be seen from a mile away with a regular size hand-flashlight. On top of that, i added my email address deep underneath the coating just in case. I'm not saying that's theft proof, but yet, won't be easy to get rid of it either. After all, how many rods with glow-in-dark and reflective tape that has an email address of the owner - are out-there?

You got me reading up on the Fuji KR Concept. Then went back and noticed all the line guides midway up your rod (Fuji KR Style.) I'm assuming the KR concept is effecting your casting distance and smaller rod guides effecting rod sensitivity?
When u say "effecting" do u mean in a good way or bad way. I try to fallow you on your question.
Was wondering if it effected both your casting distance and feel for the fish (sensitivity) in a good way. The KR Concept seems in theory to improve the line leaving the rod more effectively. I think I read where your feel for the fish/live bait was also improved too. Can you speak to both of those?
The rod is more sensitive, light and more powerful due to smaller guides and more guides then the normal layout. The response is much faster as well.
P.S. Today i end-up in a jack crevalle frenzy where the rod landed over 35 1-5lb average each, it out-cast & out-performed all the rods that where fishing shoulder by shoulder. Many rods where custom made, fished by people with experience.

Glad that rod is helping you slay em!!! Sounds like you hit the shark bait jackpot!!!
