I have a friend with a 12/0 Everol which I really like and plan on having my own Everol in the near future. My question is this: Is the 14/0 simply a wider version of a 12/0, same diameter just a wider frame and spool? and from what I have found on the net the 18/0 is the same diameter as a 14/0, just a wider spool? I know the first protoype 18/0s had actual 14/0 side plates on them that said 14/0's
The 14/0 is wider and has a bigger diameter than the 12/0. Here is a few pics of my 2spd 14/0 and my old 1spd 12/0.
It is not that much larger in diameter but definitely is. Also, from the everol drag video on youtube Ken (US Everol rep) holds up a production 18/0 and it looks larger in diameter to me than a 14/0 as well......
