Every 1 attending this weekends sharkathon at long key i have a suggestion for you all!!!
if your kids love to fish, or kids you know in the neighborhood, bring them along and enter them so we can have a nice junior category turnout, i will talk to the president William about cutting the junior entrance in half to maybe 10 bucks if the economy may be the problem for some.
My opinion is this was one of the most fun events i had going for me all year long as an up and coming gino clinging to rene and hammer as a young boy, when you know you have your own tournament out there on long key competing against all the 17 and under kids, is just a great thing, i sat and thought about it in class all month long itching for the day to come.
So lets do it for the kids guys, we can even do it how i suggested we do with the woman, instead of biggest shark or snapper for the kids, we can plainly put it biggest overall fish (junior) may it be a tarpon,jack,snapper, or barracuda!!!!
The kids will love this, and im sure the winning junior wouldnt mind all that candy money and a nice trophy!!!

Shannon,i think this is great!!!I am bringing my daughter(9yrs old),she loves to fish.I am going to put her on to her first shark on the 4/0...as well as some snap's and others.Great idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Willy already posted the new rules, but if we have a good enough turnout, for sure we will get a great junior category!!!
