Im toying with the idea March 17-21 fishing the panhandle. What kind of sharks are in that time of year? Are the beaches going to be packed with spring breakers? Or should we stick to TX

That time of year on the pan handle you will have plenty of chances of catching sandbars. And good ones at that. Ones going to 7ft and virtually all of them above 5 and a half feet. Plenty fun on light tackle. Bulls could also be caught and depending on the weather you can rock some black tips during warm fronts. Even if its nasty and cold out, you can more than likely slam at least a few sandbars. We fished the panhandle during an awful cold front the end of march beginning of april for a week and we got 7 sandbars, 2 bulls, and a lone black tip on the warmest day of the week.
