Thought id make a little post with a few videos from Sweden and what we catch around here.(The videos are in Swedish might have some parts in English, unfortunately no subtitles) Hope they might be fun to hear our weird language and see some fishing.
Pretty sure most people haven't meet that many Swedish persons
The guy in the video is Martin Falklind an old friend of my dad he thought me a lot during my early years of fishing.
His well known in Sweden when it comes to fishing pretty much the only one that has made any successful fishing videos.

This is the pike(Swedish pikes got an average weight at about 7-8 pounds but get's as big as barracudas) video:

A video of tigerfish in the zambeziriver:

This is a type of sea trout that like the salmon travels up the river to reproduce(average size around 5-8 pounds but get's as big as 50-60 pounds ):

Same guy fishing Arctic Charr not far from where I live and in spots I have fished a few times(Arctic Charrs average size is around 3-4 pounds and get up to perhaps 18 pounds at most in our waters):

Hope someone finds this some what interesting and that the Swedish speaking doesn't bother you to much.

Yeah in the nothern part of sweden is pretty similar to alaska but alaska is way bigger.
But i really love to be in the outdoors, my grand dad lives far up north in a small village. From there you can go with a boat takes about 5 hours to his cabbin it's the only way to get there.
Right next to the cabbin is a river which he owns most of forest that stretches a long side it.
The river has great pike fishing, i held the swedish record for about a year when i was 12 years old.
Going to see if i can dig out some pictures!
