So the ocearch team has tagged their first great white shark off the coast of Jacksonville. Lydia is her name at 14-6 2000 lbs she's a beast!!!!

...and less than a mile off the beach. The next day they saw another a little larger swim by. Insane.

march 3 lydia pinged jus a few hundred yards off the beach in land based fishing range. she pinged out off by the naval base outside of the inlet. you can track her http://sharks-ocearch.verite.com/ here
