BP has a phone number for volunteers who want to help clean the spill. 866-448-5816.
They say they'll get an email to you with instructions within 48 hours.
They have blown me off 3 times so far. Maybe one of you will have better luck.
Can't help but wonder how oyster bars, mangroves, or marshes can be cleaned.

Yep. Cleaning up the oil spill is the biggest misconception surrounding it; you can't.
