Favorite lure?

Just wondering what your guys favorite lure is. It could be freshwater, saltwater, trolling or casting.

My all time favorite is a 5/8 oz Krocidile spoon, hooked halibut, salmon, trout, grouper, barracuda, and all kinds of other things on it. Got a 23 1/4" wild trout with it and a 7 lb halibut first cast ever with it from the beach.

Favorite crank bait is a Lucky Craft Pointer 227(I think?) blue and silver, but at $20 a shot I fish them less often.

Bonus, what the biggest on that lure?

Mine has to be the strike long red eye shad when I'm fishing for bass. Spring time and spawning bass hate how much noise they make!

1 oz Tsunami Shockwave, silver. It is similar to a spoon. You can get the 7/8oz version at Walmart which is about the same.

I had the 3oz version that I was casting out with the 12ft rod after Sandy came by. The blues were loving it.

It's a great lure for the beach, pier, or jetty. I get macks, jacks, blues, blue runners, lizard fish, lady fish, snook and cornet fish.

Also, any Yo Zuri crystal minnow, silver and black with a noise maker!

I have always heard good things about the Yo Zuri Crystal Minnow, especially for the striped bass here in Cali. I have not purchased one yet though, definatly on my shopping list though.

Nothing beats a bucktail presented properly; it's almost to the prestige of fly fishing in its ability to entice a strike from any and every fish in all situations.

Just an average fisherman.

I agree with Mark. Bucktails by far are my favorite, close second is a gotcha or a tube lure.

I could let you guys know the name of this plug, but then I would have to kill you.

No names but my family calls this "The Illegal Plug."
It only works if bait are running or the waters is dirty and rough.
I have caught Snapper,Snook,Macks,Tarpon,Grouper,Moonfish,Bluefish,Ladyfish,Jacks,Ribbonfish,
Bass,Blue runners,Amber Jacks,Skip jacks,Bar jacks,Barracudas,Needlefish, & even a Octopus, My dad got this plug stuck on a rock and a Octopus came up and grabbed it and took it off the rock for him. It's only flaw is the hooks are weak and it's really light.

My dad was pro with bucktails but I don't have the touch for them yet.
All I've got on them was Jacks.

Kroc Spoons was my favorite when I was growing up.
You can cast them far and the hooks are strong.

Got-chas are awesome when blue runners, macks, blues, baby jacks & ladyfish are around.

I hardly ever fish lures but when I do it's a homemade 3/8 oz buck tail jig. They catch so many species and are cheap to make. Snook, reds, tarpon, trout, macs, ladyfish, pompano, and whatever is in the area they will eat it. I like to use real buck tails and not the polyester bs..better swimming action and the less fur u use the more lifelike it looks.

Isn't that a Rebel Minnow?

Whoops outed the secret lure

My dads favorite is a jointed black and silver Rapala for bass and trout. Looks similar but smaller and jointed.

X-Raps for sure! I catch everything on em! I buy the freshwater ones and replace the wimpy hooks. The saltwater ones work well as is though too.
