Catch of a lifetime and interesting story. Even more interesting are some of the comments about it on that forum..like the guy who said he could land that half ton fish in 3 hours on his surf rod, and people complaining that the guy should have used heavier gear..they were fishing for a smaller species of marlin and that blue marlin was a by-catch..incredible they were able to land it at all in any amount of time.
