Dominican Trip

Early April I will be heading out to the Dominican for springbreak. I will be taking a medium light setup , ugly stick 5-15lb with 5k fierce and 15lb mono, and a heavy setup, tiger 7 20-60lb ugly stik with spinnfisher 8500 with 65lb braid. I plan on using the lighter setup for snook, jacks, reds, and what not. For the heavy setup I'm not really sure what I want to fish for, I'm not looking to really do shark because I don't want to tote everything around . I wanted to ask for some lure recommendations. Anyone ever done poppers, stick baits, or freestyles with a large setup from the beach or lagoon? Not sure if it's even worth bringing If I'm stuck on shore, maybe tarpon? All thoughts are appreciated,
