Need to make some rigs for yakking out my 9/0.
Small update as well as wanting some feed back. I really would like to know if that sounds like the proper terminal tackle or if I need more. I plan on getting a few more odds and ends like single strand wire, mono leaders, etc. And the update is I ordered a 6/0 off ebay tonight so I will have 2 dedicated shark set ups. But I need to find a rod for it, any suggestions? Trying to keep it around $60 as the reel was $25+$ s/h and just needs the chrome outer rings replaced as they are cracked. So I got this because I see it as a cheap second set up to double my chances. Thanks for reading and God bless.

With what you have there, you shouldn't have to worry about your leaders. You've got good stuff there. I've used those Mustad hooks before, they work great once you sharpen them! FYI, they aren't hardened steel, but that's not a problem. I don't know what to tell you about a deal on a rod for your 6/0.

Thanks for the help the package of rigging supplies came today. Those hooks feel solid. How do you feel about thimbles? I bought 15 and realized I should've bought more or just not buy any. How should I use them? Only on the mono ends or the cable ends too? Again, thanks.
Sounds like you aint messing around! 
Ive never bothered with thimbles, but Im sure they help. If I used em Id likely just use em on the mono portion of my leader. Dont think a 9/0 or 6/0 will put out enough drag pressure to really NEED them unless you're using 200lb braid and hammering the drag down for Goliath or something. But like I said Im sure they'll help take the strain out of your connections and make for a stronger leader.
