For real? Or are just being optimistic?

Seems like the restaurant (operators)got shafted by another corrupt south Florida city and it's government ,yet another city that bullies a business offering a good service to the community.Here is what I found written by the restaurant owners(the evicted tenants)

Beach Watch restaurant closed its door 07/13/2011 after a bitter lawsuit settlement with the Landlord

To start an eviction suit in these economic times with a tenant who does pay his rent is incomprehensible. Specially if the landlord is the one who makes operating the business difficult and then turn around and balmes the tenant. Only short: We had the pleasure to serve up to 300,000 customers in over 4 years and more than 100 weddings. A few locals influenced the city administration and the commission denunciated our operation in public meetings. We rescued the project of the new restaurant building 3 times and without our there would be no restaurant because the administration was unable and nobody else wanted to deal with them. They frauded us about the building and the costs, they breached the lease in many issues. We invested big money and paid all rent and bill - not enough. We were treated bad and bullied out of any kind of quiet enjoyment over years with landlord's goal to get the "diamand" in possession. Our life was miserable and we only hope that our real customers still were happy. Who ever was we like to hear from you! Write right here, we would appreciate very much.

In my opinion the owner who i have spoken to is a total ahole. He essentially tried to set up a restaurant at the Dania "DUMP" AS A very very high class high priced destination DUHH! This is Dania beach not Cannes. I told the Dude he would never survive there but hey he is a Greek RESTAURANT OWNER HE basically said hey i own many clubs and your a nobody....wtf do you know. Me i KNOW Dania beach...LOL

Nothing more than a hot dog/hamburger stand will survive there. Just like the old days when the "Moultons" ran the place"40 years ago"

Anyways this guy had no idea what he was stepping into now he just wants to deflect the blame so he can keep face.

Whatever Dania does with the pier now it will be an improvement over the hell this guy put everyone through.

So who runs the pier?

I heard the people that run Dania pier right now are hard asses when it comes to shark fishing so I don't even bother going there unless the mullet run is in full swing.

The hard ass was him the restaurant owner who also ran the pier.
