So I'm going out for my central Florida shark trip and I'm having a bit of trouble getting things put together. Namely bait and location. We kind of established that we wanted our next trip to be a shark trip the last time I went fishing but we had zero luck catching rays or blue fish as bait. rays being my preffered bait, back home in fort lauderdale I'm used to rays snagging whatever you drop on the bottom. Is there a different way I need to approach these guys in central Florida? we typically fish right off the beach and more often than not at night. The second half of my problem is I need to find a reliable bait shop and a place to park at night while we fish. Can anyone recommend a place?

bt's dont eat rays like bulls greedily do. cocoa beach has had 6 shark attacks this month alone. if u want to catch the bt's and spinners following the mullet, you gotta use mullet

today: (5th this month)

Tigers will be a challenge. But ive had a ton of black tips eat my rays around the Indiatlantic/satellite area these past few months. Every time ive been out we have caught at least 2 tips. Gigging the rays in the banana or indian river is pretty good, but with the algae bloom it is tough to see them. When are you going?

Me and a friend of mine will most likely go Sunday night. I've heard that you can do overnight parking at ron jons since most of the parks are listed as closing at dusk. At another forum I frequent I was told that the hospital on the way there is loaded with rays.
