It was a hard year, the birds were hen'd up till the very end of the season.
After a busted firing pin on my .20 gauge costed me a bird with an 8" beard, I borrowed my dads 870 and was able to take this bird, I know you can't see it very well
This puppy has the right idea, nothing was going to touch his bird

After I took my bird I was on luggage duty, after boardum got the better of me I perfected my natural guilty suit mask (it wasnt over my face in the picture, but you can imagine)

I always save the spurs when they are good size, but never made a necklace. Nothing more then a shark tooth, saint Christopher and bone hook go around my neck.
