So some rich cruiseline companies are trying to do a massive 2 year dredging project on Biscayne Bay, it has a very fragile ecology, a couple of invasive species mess it up as it is, now imagine turning into a giant dock for all of those cruiseliners, always leaking oil and gasoline in the water.
This is the place I grew up fishing, a minor sewage spill messed up the fisheries before, imagine a 2 year dredging project. Please sign the petition people, before it's too late.

Signed as well. What's ridiculous is that they want to dredge the bay so that it looks more appealing for trade but they aren't even sure other countries would use it. So they're essentially taking a gamble that it will become one of the busiest ports in the country all at the expense of an important ecosystem. If they really put some thought and money into the project they could easily minimize the ecological damage from dredging with the equipment they have these days but they wouldn't make as much money doing so.
