biggest shark out of big carlos pass
a local there showed me a picture of a 7ft hammer he caught there, sometimes nice lemons and bulls are there and I hooked and lost one of the biggest sharks I have ever hooked, other than that it is all 6ft bulls, tippers, and lemons
Just an average fisherman.
There's also big jewfish, and it is fun to play with the tarpon in the light..first the tarpon come, then the snook after the tarpon leave. Earlier this week I hooked what felt like a pretty good shark on that bridge, but it could have just been the current helpin' it
Yeah like Mark said a lot of 6ft Bulls in there. During the late Fall the Sandbars will come in. I haven't caught one there just yet, but several members here have caught some really Big Lemons in there. Once fishing there a guy told me a big 10ft Lemon had been caught there a couple nights before. I did lose a Nice Shark one night on the incoming on an AJ head. I was messing around with the Tarpons on a slow night when the AJ head got picked up. What keeps me going besides that fact the place is beautiful and I have much appreciation for it, is the fact that it's just right for some Big Boy Bulls to be in there.
I've heard of big bulls and lemons being caught there, as well as sandbars on occasion. last time I was there I got hooked up on a nice tipper but lost it when I had him straight up and down trying to walk it to the beach. That bridge though always produces, I have yet to be there when my bait doesnt get picked up. Definitely a favorite spot
