Best way to keep the skeeters off?

Well, this time of year the mosquitoes are vicious at night..usually when I go out I just deal with it, I get pretty focused on what I am doing out there so they don't bother me too much. Other than long sleeves and pants, which is what I usually do, I was wondering what your go-to method is to keep them at bay? Any advice appreciated. I am hoping for a sort of natural repellent and not some chemical junk in a can. But whatever you got, lets here it..CMoney, where you at

Well depending on how long you plan to fish, we set up one of those mesh tents that was big enough for 4 of us to sit inside on chairs, this is the one I have:

A bit much of course but I bought this because the bugs in our fishing spot were unbareable, no-see-ums or whatever they are called. Repellent, long sleeves, long shirt, nothing worked so this was a last resort.

These are some cheap ways I try and stick with, try a tiki tourch with citronella fuel, garlic, or try fabric softener sheets just put them in your pockets(change them out every couple hours)!

Great stuff, thank you guys..will probably try a combination of a few of these methods. Seaweed, normally I'd go for your idea..cheap and effective, but I doubt the lovely young lady would be too keen about hanging out in the first gut with the lemons at night

If there is no or little wind a thermacell works amazing. Usually if there is too much wind for a thermacell the bugs ain't bad anyways. I am either shark fishing or hog hunting all the time and keep one in my truck full time. Use mosquito coil chunks as replacement pads and refill the butane cartridges yourself by removing the check valve and getting a butane refill thing for lighters. I used to sit in the water but after I saw a few 6ft+ bulls swimming right next to the sand I stopped doing that.
