Beach Beast

Hello out there. This one is for Fishergirl. All my aunts and all the woman in my famialy said they like this better than any ole shark. We got to the beach late that night and it had been raining. The rain had made the beach smooth. I walked down to the beach and stabed my pole in the ground. I emediatly noticed a spot that almost looked like someone had drug something up out of the water. I noticed it had flapers on the side and quickly realized what it was. I followed the tracks up the beach and there she was, all covered in sand and in the process of covering her eggs up. I yelled to Joey to get the camera. she was done doing what she needed to do and started heading to the water. Joey got there just in time to snap a couple pics befor she got to the water. The next morning I showed the turtle people where she layed out. They dug up 128 eggs and moved them up the beach so no surf would wash them away. They said i was lucky cause they had only spoted 2 in the last 5 years. They just looking at the wrong time. I felt privliged to see the creature. Monica didnt go and missed it, hate that but slack just a little and shit happens. Glad to see that BP didnt kill all of them here. Last count i herd on the BP kill is over 600 turtles. It was late to be seeing her lay out so i think it may have been a refugee from the oil. I wish her luck and hope she fairs well through the mess, after all she has to live in it the mess that BP made.
