Area group chat

I v been thinking about it for a while. There should a group chat for each area so that sharkers can meet up and see whats going on around them. And let s say someone would be going to another area he could enter the group chat and find someone to fish. I was thinking about text msg but then i realized everybodie s phone would get blown up. But there should be an instent messaging system in each area that people would check at all times. Because it seems that not everyone checks the forum everyday, or if they do it s only once. I know a lot of people in my area that shark fish, and sometimes none of them can fish, but if i had everyone in my area on a group chat, i m sure i could find someone. What do you guys think about it?
