I was wondering if anyone has ever had a monster shark spool a 80w or even 130w? it would have to be a real monster! feel free to post any experiences where you have been spooled wether it be an 80w or not!
I was fishing right next to the mouth of an inlet when I had my 6/0 and my 9/0 spooled before my sparkling blue eyes! I yakked out my baits and turned around back to shore. I heard the motors of something coming. I thought to myself I really hope this isn't some idiot not knowing what they were doing. They came right up the the mouth (going waaaayyyy to fast) and started to head towards my lines. I started yelling and paddling back to my poles as quickly as possible. I saw both rods start to wobble and heard the Clickers screaming. I got to shore and dove out of my Yak and grabbed the 6/0 first. I slammed the drag and it still was screaming. In my panic and despair, I stupidly pressed down with both thumbs thinking I'll make some kind of progress. Hmmm....... and the idiot award goes to me! Not only did that not work but I burnt the HECK out of my thumbs. I grabbed both poles in embarrassment (cuz there was a crowd) and watched all my Power Pro litter the deep blue. It happened so fast, and those morons prolly never even knew it. I waited and hoped they would eventually come back. I waited 4 hrs, but they never came back through. To this day I'd like to think the line ended up binding up their props and they were stranded and ended up floating to some island no one ever has seen or heard of.........hahahahahaha. Not really. Though I do hope the line I lost didn't cause any harm to any creatures or harm to the IDIOTS.
