Hello everyone, has anyone had any luck Sharkin when the water is flat? My buddies and I have had zero luck when with perfect conditions. I mean the ocean was glass crystal clear water and minimal wind.

We fish South east Florida Ft. Lauderdale area. Our best luck has always been SE winds with 1-2ft seas.

my last trip to east coast just south of melbourne was flat conditions and I had no trouble finding the sharks. It was nice to be able to yak the bait without fighting big waves.

I've had good or bad luck in both flat and rough conditions, try looking at lunar phases and the barometer!

Well no sooner did I post this the following day my buddy caught a 49" Cuda in glass like water and then yesterday caught a Bull in glass like water. Guess that debunks my questioning.

I've caught many of my best fish in flat conditions. However, I find that when it is rough, you don't have to get your bait out so far, they come in very close.
