Any guesses on the weight?

Caught this Spinner a few weeks ago and finding a legit scale on a Sunday is impossible. Our state record is 159 and I figured I was close....just curious what you guys thought.

Do You Have A Better Picture? And Something To Show Scale? Even A Drinking Cup In The Back Round Can Help!

:o That is indeed one thick fish! I couldnt begin to guess a weight though. Did you get Length and Girth measurements? Can determine damn close with them. The equation is usually pretty close.

73 inches from tip to tip, but I didnt get a girth and I think this was the thickest Spinner I've seen. This is the only picture I have of it, the others were exactly the same.

Close To A 6ft I Say Pretty Close To The Record. ( Saw The Water Bottle At The Bottom Of The Pic). On The Deck Tried To Use That As Scale But Still Too Tought To Tell.

Seems like a fatty for sure but guessing on the weight from just one picture is difficult. I can tell you there are some much bigger blackktips around Florida's panhandle .The guys at Navarre pier catch them close to 8 foot at certain times of the year. Many have been posted by Ernie Polk and Brett Casto ,,,,here's one example

Ernie Polk bringin one in

I think it was last year, or maybe I was looking at old posts and I saw a few blacktips that looked giant. I think it was from Polk. Yeah, and that first blacktip looks huge.

Picures are impossible for estimating sizes because of so many variations.

Earnie and them got 2 that were both 8foot 2inches.

Just an average fisherman.
