how is the shark fishing down at the tip of anna maria island and wat is the current and bottom like should i fish it like i do boca grande or is current less

If you are talking on the north end around bean point area, the currents are pretty strong at times but usually mild. The fishing is good a lot of big sharks have been caught around that area, from the beach and the pier. I am not sure about the regs about fishing from the beach but I have never been messed with on that end.
