LOL! We'll see brother I may apply just for kicks. Egomaniac Marine fisherman= TV GOLD LOL! There is quite a few guys on here that I think are adaptable, Knowledgeable, and just plain crazy enough to do VERY well in a comp like that! And if you ever want to go spearfishing get your butt up here one weekend we'll sling some steel at some fish! I just gotta finish rebuilding my 2nd speargun. Just lacking the funds lately as usual. I've been needing a dive buddy, everyone else is scared of sharks LOL!

I want to learn how to dive but I don't have the funds to buy gear to dive.

I freedive bro All I use is a mask and fins. You just gotta condition your body and train holding your breath. But I rarely go out due to lack of dive buddy and a lil thing called "Shallow water blackout" and the murky waters of Tampa Bay are no place to play around by yourself a few hundred yards from shore where we shark fish for bulls (by the St.Pete pier or Gandy bridge).

Yea no free diving for me. I'm to fat and smoke to much to hold my breath. Lol

I smoke too lol, and drink too much and only sleep when the F'ing nightmares let me. Cept Im a 6ft Marine at 155-160lbs I think you would be alright dude, . But to each their own, ya know.

Next time I'm up that way I'll give it a shot.

ADVENTURE OF LIFETIME, ,,,,,,i'm ready for the challenge if i get in tip top shape i think I could compete with the best besides for a CRAZY 50 YEAR OLD SPORTSMAN/ADVENTURER like me it would be the culmination of a lifetime on the water .

Divings is fun i spearfish and dive. i honstely dont dive enough anymore i would like to go become a dive instructor just dont have the time to do it
