Finding a long big game rod can be quite difficult at times. One idea I came up with was pole vaulting poles, they are long and flexible but with a backbone that can sling a human being over great heights.
Does anybody else have any strange ideas that can work as a substitute for fishing?
Just an average fisherman.

I don't think they have a taper do they? And if you do taper it would it make it weaker?

I don't know much about them, it was a spur of the moment idea. The hardest part would be to find a tip that fits over the top end of the pole.
Just an average fisherman.
