a day in the life of a shark fisherman
here is a little video we put together starting from going to buy bait to driving to the beach etc... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WF17xyDns0

Nice video, shows the time you have to put in. Thats one thing people dont understand, the amount of preperation and time you have to put into shark fishing if you want to hook up.
My video would go on forever! I would have to film myself checking cams and weather reports for hours and spearfishing cudas for bait.
well that was actually the short run that one was probably only 400 yards... it was the shorter section of the video the other rod went out around 700 and yeah i talk to myself on the yak sometimes but most of the time i sing...
My yak singing playlist usually consists of
Strawberry wine

We also do the same drops on the pier when we fish it ... So basically it's 700 yards plus the 500 yards of the pier .. Which is a LONG way but there are alot of shark fisherman that come here from out of state that we have met and also locals need someone to run bait so when the weather is warm I make killer $$$ running baits.. 5 dollars a rod and on a rough night I have made up to 20 a rod and the most rods I've ran off the pier so far is 21 so it can be a good night sometimes
