How much 40lb mono do you think a 6/0 reel will hold....(spec's say 475yds of 50lbs)
Also how much difference do you think there is between 40lb & 50lb mono........the reason I am asking is because I can not find anyone in B'ham Al. that carries the bigger spools of 50lb mono(enough to fill my spool) I can only find 40lbs and below. I thought about ordering it online but I am afraid it will not get here in time for my trip to Panama City in a few days.
if u have a bass pro or any sporting good store around they will usually spool it for you.

We got the Basspro on I-20 exit 144. The other end of 459 from ya.
That reel can handle 554yds of 40lb mono. They charge ya for spooling by the yard.
it was like 15 bucks to spool mine with 50lb
I called Bass Pro Shop and they have a master spool of 50lb mono so I am going there today and get both of my reels fill up. I don't understand why they do not carry bigger spools of the heavier line in their saltwater fishing section !
