the line i gave you for the calculation was 200lb solid power pro then 200 lb bullbuster so maybe my friend has a thinner braid on it.and if you did the calculations for 1000 yds of 100 instead of 1000 yds of 80 mono wouldnt it show that the reel could hold more then it actually could because 1000 yds of 100 would be a bigger spool then 1000 yds of 80...if i read the previous post correctly maybe not

You're right about this - i made the initial calculation based on 1,000yds at 100lb mono, then stellarol mention that error - in reverse though -were i went back and recalculate it at 1,000yds 80lb, which, yes, results in less line capacity.
The 1,000yds at 100lb is actually for a 130 international, vs 1,000yds for 80lb which is typical for 80w including Avet.
When i made the initial calculation i had in mind 80w but i made calculations for 130. The numbers that you see in that post, are the corrected numbers based on 1,000yds at 80lb.
