11/18 Yankee Capts 3 Day Limited Load Mutton Marathon

Hello All, I found this site really accicdent as saw the report from the recent Yankee Capts trip you just did.
I asked William if it was OK to post a trip I am doing on2/22-2/24

This trip will be limited to 20 anglers only so no need to worry about crossed lines or tangles. I idid one last yeat with 19 people and we just hammered the muttons day in day out.

Here is the intineary for the trip:

After going back and forth with Capt Greg and Alena we have got the dates set, the price and meal package was put together for this LIMITED LOAD TRIP MUTTON MARATHON!

This trip will be limited to 20 anglers which On the Yankee Capts. Which leaves plenty of room for everyone to fish with out any problems also not to mention choice of bunks? As the regulations stand NOW Grouper can not be harvested because of closed season. BUT other species can and will be caught. Yellow Tail snapper are always around and make great table fare, also you will see King Mackerel, (smokers), Amber Jacks (reef donkeys) might be bit chilly but maybe some Cobia as well as Mangrove Snapper. One thing about these trips is you never know what you are going to run into.

DATES~ Capt. Greg gave me a list of 4 different dates to choose from and HIS first choice was 2/22-2/24 which has a ¾ moon which IMHO is best way to go. The fish will be on a chew but you won’t have to put up with stronger currents that full moon will bring. The boat will sail at 10PM the night before which is the Monday 21st and return on Thursday 2/24 around noon.

COST~ The cost is 500 per angler and does not include tip or fish cleaning. The normal cost for 12 man charter is $600 so for max of 20 anglers this is a great deal with plenty of room.

FOOD PACKAGE~ This would include 2 dinners, 2 lunches, 3 breakfast and coffee through out the trip for the cost of $50.00 and would be paid directly to the galley chef. This again does not include any tip.

I have yet to get a payment date but normally they do usually like these paid if full when you commit and make a reservation which is how the Yankee Capts. run there trips. Once we have the 20 people a payment date will be set and can be made through the Y/C website. When making a payment please include your full name and screen name from what ever site you are from. I will be keeping a running list on all sites that this is posted on.

I will put a deadline up for the final date to commit Saturday December 11th as I can not nor will not hold there schedule. They are squeezing us in between 2 other trips just leaving about 12 hours for themselves for the trips prior and after this trip

Hope to see you on this one this as it should be a trip for the books.

Please feel free to ask any questions you have. Once this is booked then bait, tackle and what to bring, etc. will discussed.

A more the generous offer from Capt Greg to get this off the ground.

“Since we are getting towards Christmas and if money is tight for people we will try this. Collect ½ the money ($250) by 12/18 and then full payment the night of departure. However if they bailout they need to find their own replacement if we do not have a wait list.”

Thanks for looking.
