Got off Wills boat around 7ish in the keys, helped clean up, fileted the catch, and hauled to Miami. (As fast as one can haul with Memorial weekend traffic). Jumped on Alex's boat at 11, and headed out. Headed out to the bug, Jimmy Lewis hooked us up with some pilchards and goggle eyes for a really good price and we headed out to sir scotts range. For some reason I couldn't find the wreck so I gave up on AJ's and ran the boat out to 250 and we began a drift. A gog on the float, a pilchard on a free line and a gog down about 75 feet. We have two ppl vertical jigging at the same time, so know we are guna get somethin. The float goes off.. and its a dolphin! Eddie has never caught one so its his fish. He fights it and brings it up to the boat... I stick it with the gafff and its ours! Nice fish.

We keep fishing and mouriel gets a hit on the butterfly jig. It comes up and its a real pretty little blackfin.

Julio gets a try at the butterfly jig and wham! zzzz.. sharkbait! Bonita comes up.

Mouriel gets another hit on the jig and its a cuda. A nice one. She fights it all by herself and I stick it with the gaff. (another shark bait.)

Next eddies spinner (filled with 20lb bullbuster line of course) goes off and I hand it to Tommy because he hasnt cuaght anything. I gaff him and we have him in the boat and he bust off the gaff.. flapping around and bloodies the whole bow until we get him in the box.

Turns out he ate both the goggle eye on the float and the pilchard on the free lined spinner haha.

We keep fishing for a while.. and run out to talk to Zack, oj, nicolas and pewee on zacks boat who landed a sail about half a mile away from us

We set up one more drift in which I put a cuda out on a shark rig in about 300 ft of water (with no hits) and we ended up catchin one more cuda for bait on the deep gog. I got sorta excited for a sec because as it came up it looked sorta like a wahoo. Oh well.

Not a bad day of fishing. One sword on Wills boat (his bill is in my hand) , two nice dolphin, two big cudas, a little blackfin, and a bonita.
