I've been really busy but I still manage to find a little extra free time on my hands for fun.
Tuesday we got into the thick of some dolphin.
We barely avoided that dreaded weather.
This was the end result (minus a quick story)
We rolled up onto a nice patch and were bailing dolphin. Out from under the patch came a true giant, a marlin about 10ft long, 250-300lbs. We threw out a live dolphin, it got billed but the marlin left. We run to a second patch and the 80w went screaming on clicker. We gave it ample time to swallow the bait then gunned the boat forward, had the rod doubled over for about 2 minutes but the marlin pulled off. Turns out it spit out the bait and the hook was doubled back into the dolphin.
Later on I got picked up by Hammer to fish Lakeworth. A few bonita were caught.
Lakeworth Jonathan almost went over the railing after he hooked this big jewfish.
Just an average fisherman.
