Tarpon fishin day 2

We wanted to get some permit today but it didnt work out cuz it took us a while to get out on the boat today and the tides weren't on our side. I went to work for a bit because I zack called me up to tell me he would pick me up from the beach in front of my work. Good thing he did because I decided to grab a couple of tarpon tags from our lab on the way out. We started fishin around 4pm and as the tide started slowin down we began gettin whacked by the poons. Steve caught 2 and I hooked one and handed it off to Nico because he'd never caught one before. I lost another two tarpon and a big cuda or at least thats what I think it was (what ever it was had teeth).... coulda been a small shark. We only pics of the smallest one because the other two were part of a double header... and it was way too hectic to be snappin pics.. measuring, taggin and releasing them with 6 ppl on an 18 foot boat lol. We stopped fishin around 6:15 cuz its sunday and Zack and crew have school tom.
